Jack and Ann Armstrong established Sigma Environmental Systems in 1969 and through years of hard work and excellent customer service; Sigma became Dutchess County’s premier Carrier dealer. In 1986, John Tremblay founded Tremblay and Company, and following the same path, Tremblay and Co.
After thirty years of fine service to the community, Jack and Ann Armstrong began to plan for their retirement. After looking at several offers, John Tremblay was selected to be their successor because of his proven commitment to customer service. In 1999, the companies were merged internally but they continued to operate independently from one another for almost three years. After insuring a smooth transition for customers and staff of both companies, Jack and Ann retired in 2002 and Sigma-Tremblay was officially born.
